The School Club Zambia team would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone that supported the Boys and Men Alliance project over the last two years.
This project has had a phenomenal impact, particualrly in the most rural schools. The idea of involving boys and men in strategies to help return girls to school has built great momentum throught this project. We held a total of 21 workshops at 10 schools and these workshops included the District's Victim Support Unit on 10 of these occassions.
"I have become an advocate for women's education and rights due to the meetings held in my community by School Club Zambia. I was proud to be asked to attend workshops in neighbouring schools based on my experience of my granddaughters returning to school. A community with illiterate girls and women is not progressive and I am proud to see my graddaughters enjoying their education" Mr Silu (Village Elder) of Mucheka Village
