By Martha Mwangi | Manager, NGO Partnerships & Project Grants
Despite ongoing efforts, we have not yet secured additional funding to advance the project activities. The initial donation of $4 from our supporters remains a vital encouragement, demonstrating shared commitment to our mission. However, the current funding gap continues to delay the start of on-the-ground implementation.
Our partner, COSDEP, remains dedicated to supporting sustainable agricultural development in Kenya. They continue to engage with local communities, NGOs, and potential partners to raise awareness about the project and mobilize resources.
The absence of additional funds limits our capacity to conduct training sessions, set up demonstration farms, and reach the over 500 smallholder farmers targeted by the project. We remain optimistic that with continued support and outreach, we will be able to mobilize the necessary resources to launch the project and begin transforming the lives of Kenyan farmers.
We sincerely thank all supporters for their interest and encouragement. Your continued support is crucial in helping us bridge the funding gap and realize the long-term vision of improved food security, health, and sustainable livelihoods for Kenyan smallholder farmers.
