Conclusion – Its been a busy few months. We did not know what would happen when we fell far short of what was need to ship a full container of books; $10,300.00. Also lacking was the funding to pay for port charges and possible duty (yes, even on donated items). Well, all that melted away as BforA provided the ‘muscle,’ needed to ship pallet load sized orders door to door. They also will cover all port charges and issue the pallets to CSAG in Ghana. There will be no duty charges for the books, which was a relief.
We are grateful and relieved. Now, as we raise $500-600 increments we can send 2200 books door to door, one pallet at a time. This is a great breakthrough and allows even small contributions to have a big impact. Thanks again to all our donors…we appreciate every penny you provide.
