By John Carvosso | Chair of Trustees of Book Relief UK
This is our final report to all our supporters. We have now concluded the project by sending around 6,ooo books to our partner 'literacy charity' (Book-Cycle) in Exeter . They will be used, and we will help with the funding from the balance left from your kind donations to our Global Giving project, to go to some of their projects in West Africa.
Please do look at their website .It's very informative and Book Relief UK has been happy to be linked with them around 6 years now.
We are moving on to our next literacy project now in helping with 'Prison Literacy in the UK'. Our founder, Barry Evetts ,
had suggested this as our next project after the 'Books-by-the-palletload-for-African-Children'
Finally just to say a big 'Thank You' to you all for supporting us in this project and to Global Giving for administering it so well for us.
