During this reporting period, the Students Support and Philanthropy Program (SSPP) continued advancing the Books and Digital Skills for Jinja Youth project despite not yet receiving the quarter’s cash disbursement from GlobalGiving. To maintain momentum, we focused on mobilizing non-cash resources and preparing for implementation. Notably, a team of Master’s in International Business student interns from the Stockholm School of Economics generously donated 43 books, which will form the foundation of a “Book Nook” learning space for youth in Jinja. These efforts ensure that once funding is received, the project will move swiftly into full implementation, combining access to reading materials with digital skills training to benefit young people in the community.
