BOOK DONATION PROJECT FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

Introduction to the organization

Sathkara Social Services Foundation Guaranteed limited is a non-profit organization committed to fostering education and literacy in underprivileged communities together with providing humanitarian supports to enhance quality of life. Our organization has been actively involved in various educational initiatives, and this year, we are excited to launch our annual book donation project, " ", aimed at providing essential learning resources to school children in the areas of Lunawa, Balangoda, Angunakolapellassa, and Kalutara.

 

Project Overview

The " " project is designed to benefit students from Grade 1 to 12, providing them with educational materials crucial for their academic development. Our target is to support 500 school children in the aforementioned areas and already have accomplished cost for 200 children. The estimated cost per student, covering the procurement and distribution of books, is 4000 LKR.

 

Project Objectives

 

  • To enhance the learning experience of school children by providing them with quality educational materials.
  • To promote literacy and academic achievement in underprivileged communities.
  • To bridge the educational resource gap and contribute to the overall development of students.

 

Budget Breakdown

 

Procurement of Books                                         3750 x300= 1,125,000

 

Distribution Cost

(packaging/ transportation/ logistics)                  75000 (estimated)

 

Total Cost                                                            1,200,000
