Develop Life Skills Through Sport for 300 children

One of our value in the project is equality. We want to promote gender equality in the community where girls should be treated equally, having the same opportunity with boys for their future. The numbers of girls participate in the project has increase since the previous year. Althouth some of them missing during Covid, but now we are glad that girls from marginal community could participate in the project.

This year is a special year for girls. We are currently prepare girls team to represent Indonesia in Street Child World Cup 2022. The event will take place in Doha, Qatar on October 2022, a few weeks before the FIFA World Cup 2022. This will be the third participation of Indonesia since 2014 and 2018. Through the event, girls have a chance to show their talent, representing Indonesia girls voice in the forum, and bring awareness to people that girls can play football too.

Actually the selection process has started since September 2021, with 40 girls, age between 14 to 17 years old taking the team audition. Right now, we are getting close to top 15 girls, selected from several region in Jakarta and Bekasi where the project has run for more than 2 years. They take weekly preparation, consist of football training and capacity building to understand child rights to promote equality for girls. You can check their profile and voice of girls in our Youtube PROGRAM BOLA. We need your support to bring this girls for a life changing experience. They deserve it, they could be an inspiration and bringing hope to other girls in their community.
