Develop Life Skills Through Sport for 300 children

After case of Covid increase significantly at the end of June, we decide to stopped all of the activity in community. Meanwhile, we look for a way to support the children and family as their parents potentially having difficulties to earn money or having meals. Thankfully most of them are fine and we could distribute groceries and funds support for a few who having difficulties.

With the support of local government and collaboration with private sector, we able to help children above 12 years old and adults in community to get a dose of vaccine. In marginalized community the initiative to get vaccine and following health protocols still very low. The BOLA team trying to build their awareness by sending message, reach them in community and bring the mask wherever they go. In August, there are 200 adults and children who get vaccinated in one community at West of Jakarta.

After the covid case decreased at the end of August, we start again the futsal activity in September. It was a special months as we prepare the girls team for Street Child World Cup (SCWC 2022) . As we mention in the previous report, we have a plan to participate in SCWC 2022 in Doha, Qatar next year. There are 15 girls selected to follow the audition of Indonesia girls team and will prepare themselves until October 2022. They will be equipped with kinds of skills such as communication, leadership, and football technique. We still need your support for BOLA program.

We don't know when the pandemic will be over. What we know is to keep on moving, make a change, create an opportunity for children. No one left behind when everybody joining hands. Thank you for your kind support for the project. Let's keep on moving!
