The BMAN Peace Pledge Movement is a Ministry-endorsed architecture forming Nigerian secondary school boys as peace leaders. Cult activity targets boys in 30-40 percent of Nigerian schools. Youth unemployment exceeds 40 percent. Without deliberate formation, boys arrive at adulthood without the practised capacities peace requires. Every dollar funds the Peace Leadership Journey of Nigerian boys who might otherwise be recruited into cults, criminal networks, or political violence.

Youth unemployment exceeds 40 percent - the pipeline into cult, criminal, and political recruitment. The general elections intensify mobilisation of teenage boys. Academic curricula have kept pace with the world; character and leadership formation infrastructure for boys has not. Boys arrive at adulthood without the practised capacities peace requires.
The BMAN Peace Pledge Movement is a five-pillar national architecture forming Nigerian boys as peace leaders. Pillar 1: the five-week Peace Pledge Campaign curriculum (Ministry-endorsed). Pillar 2: BMAN Peace Week, the seven-day national mobilisation held every September on the UN International Day of Peace. Pillar 3: year-round Peace Pledge Cells meeting monthly at every partner school. Pillar 4: the Peace Crown Championship, held every 16 May with seven trophies. Pillar 5: Peace Ambassadors
Every boy who walks the Peace Leadership Journey enters adulthood with the practised capacities of peace leadership. Cumulatively, this shifts the composition of Nigeria's next generation of men - the fathers, professionals, community leaders, election officials, and citizens of the 2030s and 2040s. Alumni who become Peace Pledge Cell Leaders and Peace Ambassadors compound the impact: each funded cohort produces facilitators for the next.
