A Season of Celebration at Dayspring Home

By Mercy Annapoorani | Director

Dear Donors,

The past few months at Dayspring Home have been marked by celebrations and moments filled with joy, togetherness, and meaningful celebrations. Girls at Dayspring Home celebrated Diwali, Karthigai Deepam and Christmas, filled with light, color, and happiness. These celebrations created moments of excitement and creativity for everyone.

The girls enthusiastically drew beautiful kolams, decorated the house and dressed up in beautiful dresses. A special dinner was prepared for them, and as a gift, each girl received a new dress for Diwali and Christmas. As part of the Karthigai Deepam festivities, the girls also lit candles, symbolizing hope, light, and new beginnings.

Through these celebrations, the girls experienced not only cultural traditions but also the warmth of community and shared happiness. Each occasion became an opportunity to create lasting memories and to remind them that they are cherished, valued, and loved.

At Dayspring Home the girls  also continued to work hard. In the first half of December, all the girls sat for their half-yearly exams at school, putting in great effort and dedication to their studies. They completed their exams just before heading into the 12-day holidays for Christmas and New Year.

We sincerely thank you for your contributions. Your support enables us to bring moments of joy and togetherness to the girls at Dayspring Home and to provide them with consistent support throughout their academic journey.
