Dearest Friends and Supporters,
All the Blossom team expresses its immense gratitude for your ongoing support that is allowing us to meaningfully improve the daily life of our children at Dayspring Home!

The children continue to go to school and to obtain positive results in all subjects! One of the older girls started to attend a daily typing class, and two girls who will soon finish school are excited about signing up for the polytechnic college next year!
During the summer, we hosted several volunteers that have supported the children in their daily activities. Children are always enthusiastic to welcome new volunteers at Dayspring Home and they can by now all sustain basic conversations in English, making the interactions with them more meaningful! Volunteers have helped the children with their homeworks, they have reorganised the library and they have engaged the children in outdoor games and creative activities.
The activities at Dayspring Farm are proceeding successfully as well, with the children happily participating in its maintenance. The farm is currently producing sustainable seasonal crops such as papayas, bananas, guavas, and eggplants, as well as milk and eggs that are being used to provide the children with a healthy and nutritious diet!
Birthdays, holiday celebrations and festivals are always exciting moments for children! At Dayspring Home we pay great attention to their emotional needs and never forget about special days and sharing these festivities with them. In the past months, the birthdays of several girls were celebrated with cakes, special dinners and gifts. Moreover, on August 15 Dayspring Home organised a flag ceremony for Indian Independence Day.
Thanks to your generous donations, in the past months we have also initiated some repairs and renovations to improve the children’s comfort and security during their stay with us!
The floor of the external corridor that was showing signs of damage has by now been completely renovated! Moreover, we have also recently initiated the construction works to build a new room!
