Blossom is happy to inform you that three more children namely Muneeswari, Nandhini, Hariharan hail from our DAYSPRING HOME suffering from both HIV-TB have improved their immunity power because of the nutritious food supplied to them at our dayspring home. The virus action destroys the body’s building blocks. Supplements like milk, dhal, mushroom, and greens extend the healthy life of the children.
Hence the nutrition provided by various donors and agencies through GlobalGiving, is beneficial to the poor needy in the remote villages. The outreach workers are doing in their own interest in serving the children. They are working very hard even though the salary is very meager. The district TB officer and the health care service provider’s extend good support and assistance in serving the poor and needy.
In particular BLOSSOM HAS A CASE STUDY: Muneeswari was born as a very weak child to her aged father (85) and less aged (35) mother. Her father cannot go to any work due to his age. The family income could not satisfy the needs of the family itself. So they were not able to bring up the child with healthy food.
The child was tested X-ray positive for TB and the parents brought the child to BLOSSOM dayspring home. Now the child is under the treatment of DOTS in Government Hospital, Virudhunagar. Because of the efforts taken by BLOSSOM, the child started improving better and at present her health is O.K.
Also because of your kind hearted donation, BLOSSOM was able to give healthy, nutritious food like mushroom, greens, banana etc which helped the child to develop immunity. We appreciate your help and extend your continuous help in further also so that we can make the child cured and help the other children’s to have a bright future. It extends the healthy life of the children.
On behalf of the T.B and HIV/TB infected children, their family members and dedicated staff team, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the donors who are very supportive through their donations. Please continue to help the poor children from the dreaded diseases.
