Bali Sports Foundation is a registered Indonesian Charity that provides sporting opportunities for people living with disabilities and the disadvantaged in Bali and East Indonesia. One of the most enthusiastic groups who participate in our programs are those who are vision impaired both total and partial, which is why we are so determined to provide for them as many sporting opportunities as possible.
Unfortunately this project has only managed to raise a small fraction of the money needed up to this point. But we, at Bali Sports Foundation, are steadfast in our aim and will continue to push forward until we reach our target, and then some.
We, as 'able-bodied' can only imagine what it is like to live with a disability but for our athletes it is their 'normality' and they live this way without complaint. Their participation in sport has become a major part of their lives as it not only improves their health, both physical and mental, but their overall attitude and self-confidence. Anyone who has had the privilege of seeing a person with disabilities express sheer joy and happiness when simply participating in sport will, themselves, be left both humbled and inspired.
We still need YOUR help in order to help more people with disabilities and being able to achieve our target to purchase equipment for the blind can help us do that. Bali Sports Foundation believes that "SPORT CHANGES LIVES" and we want to continue to do that, one life at a time!
