Love is a Fuzzy Warm Feeling

Thailand is smack in the middle ot the "winter months" especially  in the North-Eastern and Northern regions of the country.

The weather in the mountains could be as low as zero degrees and with gusty winds, hilltribe families living on there will experience shivering days.

In a small local school in Chiangmai, students are mostly from the Hilltribes living in the mountainous regions around the city. Due to lack of schools in the more remote areas as well as the poverty levels there, many of the children studying in this primary school are given scholarships and live in the dormitories near their school. Before the year ends, these students are allowed to travel home to their families in the hills, to celebrate the New Year together before returning to school.

Warm, fuzzy blankets and socks for all 200 students, together with some winter clothings were sent with much LOVE to the school in Chiangmai.

Khru Meow the school principal, said, "Thanks so much to all donors of the Foundation for Life, for your love expressed in these wonderful warm and fuzzy items for our students, as it gets really cold here in the north, especially in the  mountains, at night."

The Foundation would like to also echo these same sendiments, and  to express our appreciation for any donations that has enabled us to bless the under-privileged in the society, giving them this warm, fuzzy feeling of being loved.

Any comments or feed back is welcomed to help improve our outreach to those we serve.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May you be blessed and safe!

Cheers,

Vena
