Thanks to the Donors, We Were Able to Give Refugee

By JIYUN JU | Project Leader

GCS raised funds to provide birth kits for vulnerable refugee families. Thanks to your interests and contribution, 3 donors raised $80 for our project.

We are waiting for the time to reach our goal, raising more funds to support pregnant women at Thai-Myanmar border. Once the fund is raised, GCS will begin to provide birth kits for about 100 families.

With the recent surge of confirmed cases of Thai-Myanmar border, COVID-19 lockdown measures have been tightened. It is highly difficult in basic food supply or medical care in hard-to-reach areas along the border owing to the closure of the borderline and intensive limitation of movement between regions. Once the lockdown is eased, we would discuss how to mobilize our birth kits for refugees.

We appreciate you for standing with global neighbors. You made refugees be able to move forward in their lives. Thank you so much!
