The Biogas project is an initiative brought about by the team after having marathon meetings with the people from Alice. The people from the town where facing many challenges ,especially of not affording electricty because of the status and background which there are from.Alice is a rural town where poverty is the order of the day.So some people where now engaging to illegal cable connections which is a dangerous thing to everyone in the community. So as a result we saw it neccessary to engage Biogas fuel as an alternative energy for those who where exposed to such risk and dangers .
This Biogas project would be implimented using what l call the viper strategy ,where by every part of the project is evaluated to see the effectiveness of the resources being applied.
The sequency would be as follows ,after getting the required resources for the Biogas Reactor which would cost us around U$2000 plus. The Project would be now in force. All the needed fuel and other materials needed for the creation of Biogas stove to do the marketing research would be distributed around town to other NGOs whom we are partnering with.Having done that every 2 months,we would do some evaluations on the project. When doing that process the other team members would be having workshops with the chosen NGOs ,they would be teaching entreprenuerships skills to the target groups as to mould then to start their own co operatives and making their own stoves for the targeted market.
We have more than 12 volunteers to safekeep the target afore mentioned behind. And the resources would be put to maximum use. This project is ongoing.
