The number of children participating to our activities has increased to about 15, many of them also come with us in short trips around the area. The number of animals that we have in our care has also increased and sometimes we need to do multiple visits to the vet in one day, for vet treatments, spaying or vaccination, because our existing car is just to small.
When we go on a trip with the chidlren we need at least 3-4 cars, that means we need to coordinate to have at least 3-4 drivers with their cars available everytime we want to go somewhere. Additionally, when we have many puppies and kittens that need vaccines and other animals that need vet care, we need to drive multiple times to the vet, who is 20KM away, to get everything sorted, because our current car only fits 2-3 transport cages.
The van has 8+1 seats, which means it can fit 7-8 kids out of the 15 (sometimes less, sometimes more) children that participate to our activities, every time we want to go somewhere. Also, the back seats can be taken out and we can use the van for transporting more animals to the vet at the same time, when needed, saving time and fuel.
We will be able to schedule trips easier, because the constraint on cars and drivers will be smaller. We will also save time on vet visits and money that we used to pay for multiple trips to the vet.
