Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Big Sister/Big Brother Mentorship Program – Nigeria project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned mentorship activities have not yet begun.
Across many communities, children continue to grow up without steady guidance or positive role models. Many face difficult home conditions, exposure to negative peer influence, and limited support to stay focused on school and personal growth.
Without mentorship, these children are more likely to struggle with decision-making, lose interest in education, or become involved in harmful activities. The lack of trusted adults to guide them leaves a gap that affects their future.
This project is designed to connect 1,000 children with trained mentors who will provide support, tutoring, and life guidance. Through regular sessions, children will take part in reading activities, group discussions, and skill-building exercises in safe spaces.
With the right support, these relationships can help children build confidence, stay in school, and make better life choices.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this mentorship program can begin and reach children who need guidance and encouragement.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
