June 29, 30th, we hold first stage of Lanjingling 2018 work capacity-building training camp in Shanghai. There are 17 participants attend two days training camp.
In DET workshop (Disability Equality Training, abbreviation: DET), Haibin Zhou, the mentor at the United Nations working background, has taught three ways to understand disability. The change of three titles allows each person with disabilities and non-disabled to be more objective, to look at the handicapped at a higher level, to change the stereotypes of this group, and to work together to eliminate the barriers of physical and mental harm through various means.
The Speech Enhancement was mentor by Mingming, a visually impaired employee who work in Apple, from the current job experience, sharing his unique presentation skills, and how to create a personalized style of speech art.
In Career mentality and Business Etiquette Courses, Nizi showing "personality orientation to commonality-oriented transformation, from temperament orientation to career-oriented change, from thought-oriented to action-oriented, from growth-oriented to responsibility-oriented" four dimensions in depth to explain the workplace's essential professional qualities.
As Xiaobin, one of the participants, wrote: originally, "disabled" is a neglected, discriminated against, darkness state word. With the progress of thought, the "disabled" people were gathered together and take medically way to "solve" their "problem". By now, people's consciousness has gradually begin to ascend, these people with physically and mentally impaired also have the right to enjoy public life, the "barrier" is the thing should be solved but not the single people should be solved. If the environment are barrier free enough, and with equal education and opportunity to enjoy work, everyone can have self-confident, independent, comfortable inclusion into various life scenes of the society.
Everyone can live happily, freely and with dignity, is like a shining star ahead of us, leading the way to go.
