Hello, dear Baba-supporter!

First of all, our team wishes you cosy, hopeful and warm holidays and a meaningful and loving year ahead! Thankful to have shared some lines of good-making with you!!

I will make a quick run through the last few months you haven't heard from us.

  • We organized a 10-day artistic residency in the torlak village Salash (Belogradchik) together with our valuable partner Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation and 10 residents participated. All of them are developing artistic projects which in different ways tackle climate issues the village is facing. More in the next report.
  • We organized 4 volunteer actions in 4 villages.
  • We sold more than 500 pairs of woollen socks and terlitsi, made by grannies from villages we've worked with our Baba Residence. And we're continuing.
  • Our Baba Residence for chosen as a main cause of the newly-born Bulgarian brand / hrabar. 10% of the cost of the clothes goes as a donation to our efforts to make the life in Bulgarian villages better!
  • Together with our partner 1 percent change/ 1  we launched a joint campaign for free dental care for 40 elderly people from 3 villages in Northwestern Bulgaria.

And our light-hearted gift to you - the Sock jokes series :) Since they're in Bulgarian, If you need a translation, drop us a line.

We hope to have you in our next year too!

Be well,

Yoana and the Ideas Factory team
