Final Lemonade Stand

By Alyssa Lile | Director of Communications + Engagement

The Bowling Family Breaks Ground
The Bowling Family Breaks Ground

Since our last report, Can'd Aid hosted a groundbreaking ceremony where members of the press and major donors gathered onsite to celebrated long-awaited movement on a project that truly embodies our "fueled by people power" motto, and is a true testament to the power of community and one family's quest for inclusive play.

In June, Can'd Aid and the Bowling family also hosted the project's fourth and final lemonade stand fundraiser, raising over $13,000 and putting the project at over 90% of our fundraising goal.

Additional fundraising updates:

  • In late March, the project received a $2,500 donation from the PGA tour
  • In May, Larimer County pledged $50,000 to the project to be used for the Yalp Inclusive Sona Arch
  • In June, The Permobil Foundation supported the project with a $2,000 grant.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support this project!
