During the last couple of months we have been working rigorously on planning and building our July-August Summer Camps, hosting 450 children and teenagers.
We have also been doing year-end activities in all the different classes and programs the House of Wheels is operating across all of its branches.
During August the House of Wheels will open the "Flywheel", a center for young adults:
In the next few weeks we'll open the "Flywheel" at our home in Herzliya, a center meant for 20 young adults that will take part in whole-day activities, five days a week.
The young adults who will take part in the "Flywheel" will arrive from central Israel as well as cities from Hadera to Lod.
The "Flywheel" is meant for young adults, ages of 21 and above, with complex physical disabilities and is meant as a substitute of an employment framework for those who could not integrate in workplaces in the free market or protected factories.
The purpose of the "Flywheel" is to maximize the personal potential of each participant.
We are very excited by the fact that the staff and participants for the "Flywheel" are almost consolidated.
We'll gladly update soon with the latest stories from the "Flywheel" as well as other projects.
