Beginning Life with Hope

What a privilege it is to look into the eyes of the future and participate in helping young lives trust in that future that stretches before them – after being cast aside

Following the 100 day nationwide Doctor Strike, new children have joined our Sally Test community:

• We do not know Kipsang’s age, but he is a “talkative,” virtually sightless young man whose limited vocabulary fills our ears with a monochromatic song each day from his wheelchair. 

• Joshua is a curious, almost-walking boy with a strong will and preference for being held as he tries to rebuild trust in his world that abandoned him.  Joshua’s discovery of himself in the mirror was an exciting moment for him – and for us!

• The youngest of our new group is ~ six month old Samuel ~ whose happy nature elates us with his smiles, laughter, and coos.  His soft hands caress the faces of his caretakers with a gentleness and curiosity that communicate a return of the love shown him.

For those who have shared in these new lives, our long-term children, and those little ones who are yet to come, thank you for your continued support and love.
