Every week Community Warehouse provides furniture and household items to 55 families looking to make a new start thanks to the support of donors like you.
When you give to Community Warehouse, you increase a family's ability to stay housed by 40%.
Lasting change starts with you.
"You see the impact of your donation in the smiling faces of mother and children and people coming in here and picking out their couch, their pillow, their bed - the impact is just seen on their face." - Community Warehouse Donor
Dan, a case manager at one of our partner agency says, "People always are so happy and grateful, you know. Always. My clients get to come here and choose stuff that's in decent shape and take it home. It's giving them a new life and they're giving it a new life. A second chance."

Returning to Pre-Pandemic Levels

While 2020 brought many unforseen challenges, Community Warehouse has been able to continue to keep our mission at the center: "to provide donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort and dignity of a furnished home while overcoming adversity." After pivoting and adapting services to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Warehouse is focusing on returning to pre-pandemic levels of services.
So far in 2022, Community Warehouse has done the following to increase the number of clients served from 25 a week to 47 a week (with a goal to resume serving 55 families a week)
- Resumed residential donation pickups to ensure sufficient inventory for an increased number of clients.
- Provided a Direct Service Coordinator at each location to help more clients who do not have representation from other partner agencies,
- Resumed delivery services for clients without their own transportation , in order to provide more comprehensive services.

Looking back at 2021 and forward to 2022

As we step into a new year at Community Warehouse, we'd like to pause to look back at the impact of our services and your support in 2021.
Our Impact in 2021
In 2021, Community Warehouse served:
3,092 Individuals
1,309 Families
1,166 Children
while redistributing a total of
39,280 Household Items
Our Goals for 2022
Our focus in 2022 is to work our way back to pre-pandemic service levels of serving 7,000+ people annually. This means increasing our appointments, client services, and furniture bank inventory while regularly adjusting COVID-19 protocols to keep our staff, volunteers, case managers, and clients safe.
This spring, we will begin a strategic planning process of setting our vision and major goals for the next 3+ years. So much has changed through the pandemic, and we want to be responsive to our community's needs in the most effective way possible. As such, our strategic planning process will include community participation.
