Provide beds for 300 kids sleeping on the floor

While 2020 brought many unforseen challenges, Community Warehouse has been able to continue to keep our mission at the center: "to provide donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort and dignity of a furnished home while overcoming adversity."  After pivoting and adapting services to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Warehouse is focusing on returning to pre-pandemic levels of services. 

So far in 2022, Community Warehouse has done the following to increase the number of clients served from 25 a week to 47 a week (with a goal to resume serving 55 families a week)

• Resumed residential donation pickups to ensure sufficient inventory for an increased number of clients.
• Provided a Direct Service Coordinator at each location to help more clients who do not have representation from other partner agencies,
• Resumed delivery services for clients without their own transportation , in order to provide more comprehensive services.
