Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Become a Lifesaver: Motivate Blood Donation Now project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned blood donation drive has not yet begun.
Across many communities, hospitals continue to face serious shortages of safe blood. This affects patients during emergencies, childbirth, surgeries, and for children needing urgent care.
Fear, misinformation, and lack of motivation discourage many from donating, leaving blood banks understocked and increasing the risk of preventable loss of life.
This project is designed to organize a public blood donation drive on June 14, World Blood Donor Day, in partnership with certified hospitals. Donors will receive proper screening, and the process will be carried out safely. To encourage participation, basic support such as refreshments, transport stipends, and T-shirts will be provided.
With the right support, more people can step forward to donate, helping hospitals maintain steady blood supply and save lives.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this campaign can begin and reach willing donors.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
