Five therapy horses make free equine therapy possible for children with disabilities and their families in Bulgaria. Hidalgo, Sdendo, Sheza, Bianca, and Lazy each have a role - riding therapy, ground therapy, emotional support. They need daily care to keep working. Our five therapy horses are entirely funded by supporters. Hidalgo needs winter feed. Sdendo, our gentleman, needs extra feed as he ages. Lazy survived a near-blinding eye injury and needs ongoing eye care. Sheza needs dental care. Bianca is training for full therapy work. Behind each horse stand the children and parents who depend on them. Without care, the horses cannot work. Without the horses, no therapy exists.
Your monthly gift funds the daily care of our five therapy horses - feed, veterinary care, land, and the team that works 365 days a year. Every amount matters: $10 feeds one horse for a week, $60 covers monthly vet care for one horse, $130 pays for one winter blanket for a therapy horse. Every donation is tax-deductible.
