This project aims to protect 90 Chimpanzee population and protecting their natural habitats. And taking care of 20 Orphaned chimpanzees in Gombe Sanctuary in Tanzania,where there is important chimpanzee populations found in Gombe National Park .This projects involve wildlife research, habitat conservation, and community awareness programs. The main goal is to ensure chimpanzees survive for future generations. Conservation efforts also help maintain Tanzania's biodiversity and forest ecosystems.
The 20 Orphaned Chimpanzees in Tanzania face many threats that put their survival at risk. Deforestation caused by farming, charcoal production, and settlement expansion destroys their habitats. Illegal hunting and poaching further reduce their population. Human activities near forests increase conflicts between people and chimpanzees. In addition, diseases transmitted from humans and climate change create serious long-term challenges.
The project will solve problem at Gombe in Tanzania through providing education and training on importance of conservation of chimpanzee, partnering with Institute that conducts research and monitor chimpanzee populations, tree planting programs to create better habitat for animals, anti-poaching patrols help reduce illegal hunting and forest destruction. Sustainable farming and eco-tourism provide alternative sources of income to reduce dependence on forest resources.
