During this past quarter, the Be a Hero for Vulnerable Children in Venezuela project continued providing essential support to children affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis. With a focus on health, nutrition, and education, we worked to ensure children received medical attention, nutritious meals, and educational support during a time of severe shortages and instability.
This quarter, we assisted thousands of children through medical checkups, nutritional monitoring, and the distribution of nutritious food packages to families in need. We also supported students with learning materials and tutoring to help them stay engaged in school despite the difficult circumstances. These efforts contributed to reducing moderate malnutrition, improving school attendance, and strengthening families’ knowledge of basic health and nutrition practices.
Despite challenges such as limited access to food and medical supplies, we remain committed to adapting and expanding our work. Donor support allowed us to allocate funds to medical care, food distribution, educational materials, and essential logistics.
In the next quarter, we plan to increase preventive health services, expand food support, and strengthen partnerships with local schools and community organizations. We are deeply grateful for the continued support that makes this project possible and brings hope to vulnerable children across Venezuela.
