"EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM"

HERE WERE OUR METRICS DURING 2023: 
  • 163,000 BALANCED MEALS DELIVERED AT SCHOOL TO CHILDREN AND TEACHERS
  • WE ACHIEVED SCHOOL ATTENDANCE FROM BOTH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF 90%
  • CHILDREN AND TEACHERS RECEIVE A FULL DAILY MEAL AT THEIR SCHOOL, ENCOURAGING SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
  • $130,180.00 FUNDS RAISED WERE USED TO PURCHASE FOOD SUPPLIES FOR MEAL PREPARATION
  • 100% OF THE FUNDS RAISED ARE USED FOR MEAL PREPARATION; ALL OTHER COSTS ARE COVERED BY THE FOUNDERS
  • 200 surveys were conducted with beneficiary families and 101 interviews with teachers to explore their interests, opportunities, and needs in each of the schools
  • 60 teachers received training on Positive Discipline and Conflict Resolution Techniques, enabling them to identify and address their own and others' emotional needs. During the training, they learned techniques to manage conflicts and stressful situations in the classroom with students
  • I READ, PLAY, AND LEARN: Innovative reading and writing method sponsored by the Metropolitan University and the Inter-American Development Bank
  • 140 first-grade students acquired innovative tools for reading and writing, developing reading comprehension skills
  • Thirty first and second-grade teachers and academic coordinators were certified with the reading method by the Metropolitan University, enabling them to effectively teach the program at school.
