Thanks to you all 16 batteries were replaced for ensuring an uninterrupted power supply to the children and teachers of the Barakat Schools in Pakistan. It is donors like you that make all the difference to the day-to-day learning environment in our schools. While the schools in Pakistan have also been closed for months with no clear date for re-opening, it will gladden you to know that these batteries have been in use since before the schools shut down due to COVID-19.
It is my hope that you will look at the project that we put up next in order to keep our operations functioning in Pakistan during this world-wide crisis where we are strapped for funds, our usual fund-raising avenues blocked and demands still pressing on Barakat for paying our staff even in the countries where schools have to per force be closed.
