This project will establish a Daycare center in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, to support 70 children of migrant families working in the Guntur Mirchi Yard. These children are often left without adequate care. The center will provide a safe, nurturing environment with hygiene supplies, basic education, and nutritious meals, allowing their mothers to work without worry. $700 per month will cover rent for a safe house and staff include a Teacher, Cook and helper. The Guntur Mirchi Yard, Asia's largest Chilli market, draws a continuous stream of migrant families from states like Bihar and Odisha. These families work in Chilli grading sheds, often residing in precarious housing and engaging their children in labor. Around 1,500 children in this area lack adequate care, education, and protection, living in dire conditions. These children face significant hardship, often staying on the streets without access to food, shelter, or protection from the elements
