Though life of chennai residents has come back to normalcy but for those who have lost everything are yet to come in terms with reality.....
Life of these people came to a complete standstill... No shelter, no food, no clothing... absolutely nothing...
Hats off to all the organistions who showed solidarity in reaching out to the Flood Victims by giving them items that were mcuh needed for their day to day survival.
Some of the organistions are still helping people stand back on their feet.
At this moment we would specially like to thank CRISIL FOUNDATION who provided a huge relief kit consisting of 2 Mats, 2 bedsheets, 2 Pillows and covers, one saree, one lungi, doormat, towel along with complete kitchen utensils and it also included one 3 litre cooker, 1 mixer, 1 gas stove, 1 fan and one month provisions to 332 families in two phases with the help of HOPE foundation.
People who received this kit were very happy as it would help them make a new begining of Life. All most all of them were in tears while expressing their joy of having received the kit consisting of 7 items.
CRISIL foundation not only supplied the kits but also joined hands in distributing the kits to the affected families.
This initiative of CRISIL foundation was a blessing to the 332 families and HOPE foundation thanks CRISIL foundation for showing the trust and ushering HOPE foundation with the responsibility of identifying the most severly affected families and “Bringing HOPE Changing Lives”…. of these people.
