Laudes Infantis plans to adapt the Salamandra Kindergarten which offers an integral attention based in pedagogical activities and nutrition, as well as monitoring and psychosocial attention for 104 children (and their families) living in vulnerable conditions or are forced of displacement from their home places to Ciudad Bolivar, Bogota D.C. Ciudad Bolivar, in Bogota (Colombia) has the highest percentage of population living in poverty and misery (24.8%), what does it means they live in conditions of critical overcrowding, have inadequate housing and lack of essential public services such as basic sanitation, especially water and sewerage .This difficult situation affects especially children under 5, who often are deprived of their right to have an adequate education, nutrition, and psychosocial attention.
Families and their children have access to the Salamandra Kindergarten cause their parents are making a love exchanges with their kids in Laudes Infantis Foundations, our children are provided with comprehensive care, favoring their cognitive, affective and nutritional development, and in exchange, their parents must generate commitments of co-responsibility and participate actively in training processes and activities within the kindergarten, which will generate a positive affective.
The project will provide the basis for 104 children to have adequate psychomotor, affective and cognitive development while their families, develop the skills necessary to provide optimal care since the beginning from their childhood, ensuring opportunities for their children to project positively in life.
