Happy New Year,
I am writing to update you about our efforts post Hurricane Matthew in the Bahamas. Thank you for being part of the effort. You helped us raise over $10,000 online and off to be put towards our relief efforts in the Bahamas. With your donations we were able to fill a 40 foot shipping container full of relief supplies that were sent over to Nassau a few weeks back and now a second container to Grand Bahama to be sent out next week. Your funds were used to purchase some of the much needed supplies that are not usually donated following a disaster such as the chain saw you will see in the attached photo and other needed building supplies.
In addition, next week our volunteers will be working to restore a few homes in Nassau that are still damaged from this terrible storm.
