Imagine 232 children who want to learn, dream and build their lives lacking even the simplest things - a notebook, a pen or a textbook. The Backpack of Care gives children everything they need to study: an e-book, a stationery set, a backpack and stickers for creativity. Those are more than basic things - it's our support, motivation to learn and believe in a bright future. Your contribution will help engage children in learning and improve their emotional state even in the most difficult times.
Children in Ukraine are facing severe barriers to education due to the ongoing war. Many schools are damaged or unsafe, forcing kids to study remotely or in shelters with very limited resources. Without access to basic school supplies and digital tools, their learning opportunities are shrinking, leaving them at risk of falling behind.
The Backpack of Care project will provide 232 children in the Shevchenkivska community of Kharkiv region with backpacks containing essential school supplies and e-books. These simple but powerful tools will help children continue their studies despite the disruption, giving them both the basics for daily learning and access to digital libraries.
By equipping children with the means to study today, we help protect their right to education and open the door to future opportunities. The project fosters resilience, keeps children engaged in learning, and gives families hope that education will not be lost to war. Investing in these children's education now supports the long-term recovery and rebuilding of their communities.
