One of the labs now equipped and open serves a community that, like so many across Ukraine, has been disrupted by displacement and the ongoing war.
For the children here, this lab provides something simple but essential: a safe, stable place to keep learning, even when so much around them is uncertain. Now that the lab is fully equipped, students have laptops and STEM materials to build real digital skills, and they also receive psychosocial support alongside their classmates - helping them process what they've been through while they learn. This is exactly what your support makes possible as the new school year begins.
Teachers and staff at the lab describe students as eager to return and engaged from the very first sessions, glad to have a space of their own again after the uncertainty of the past school year.
Support for projects like this one doesn't just meet an immediate need - it builds something that lasts. An equipped lab keeps serving new groups of children long after this school year ends, giving each new cohort the same stable start, and giving the community a resource it can continue to rely on for years to come.
Thank you to everyone supporting this project through GlobalGiving. As we prepare for the new school year ahead, it's your generosity that will make it possible for even more children to gain access to the education, skills, and support they need to thrive.
