Dear Donors,
The economic crisis has not only threatened the present of the country but also, it's future. The numbers of dropouts and child labor are on the rise in Lebanon. The Back to School: Emergency Response project aims to decrease those rates in supporting students with their transportation fees, student sponsorships, school bags and stationery, and school supplies.
After conducting our outreach, which was spread all over Lebanon, we prioritized students who were most at risk of dropping out because of the high cost of transportation.
Although the project is still ongoing, and we are still trying to reach a bigger number of beneficiaries, 70 students have benefited from having their transportation fully covered. The beneficiaries of this project are of different backgrounds, 60% Lebanese, 30% Syrian, and 10% Palestinian students.
We would like to take a moment and thank each and every donor for their support. Through your very generous contributions, we will be able to keep some of the most vulnerable students in school.
