Help us Find Home for Children in Caracas
By Erika Pardo | Project Leader
Hogar Bambi Venezuela is deeply committed to restoring orphans and vulnerable children's right to grow up in a family. We concentrate our efforts on promoting adoption and offering orientation and support to biological or adoptive parents, ensuring a safe home for these children. In the past year, 44 children were either adopted or returned to their families after they received counsel and orientation. Notably, in recent months, we have been working alongside families so their children may return to a safer, loving home.
Furthermore, thanks to the efforts of our donors, staff, partnerships with social workers, and potential adoptive families, we continue working to find a home for every child under our protection. We have also raised public awareness about adoption and how it can change a child's life.

Help us Find Home for Children in Caracas
By Erika Pardo | Project Leader
During the last quarter of the year, Hogar Bambi Venezuela received support to continue the "Help Us Find Homes for Children in Caracas" project. Our team remains dedicated to tirelessly working towards to keep running our 4 houses as loving homes for children in need. Thanks to the commitment of our professionals and the generosity of donors, we have been able to provide comprehensive education for all the children in our care. This includes collaboration with social workers, government entities, and potential adoptive families to establish safe and nurturing environments where each child can thrive. The success of the project is evidenced by five successful cases, where each child has found the joy and stability of a forever family.
The project has significantly increased the number of children placed in loving, permanent homes, directly aligning with its core objective.
Collaboration with social workers and government agencies has expanded the network of potential adoptive families, broadening the pool of suitable homes for the children.
Through partnerships with social workers and potential families, the project has refined the matching process, ensuring compatibility between children and their future adoptive parents.
Additionally, the project has developed and enhanced support services for both children and adoptive families during the transition period, leading to smoother adjustments and higher success rates for placements. Our association with GlobalGiving has raised public awareness about the need for adoptive homes in Caracas, resulting in increased inquiries and potential matches.
Overall, these achievements demonstrate our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children in Caracas.
