Caracas,  march 2023

In 2023 we have perceived an increase in the number of neonatal children (less than 1 month of age), which has generated a problem of physical distribution in Hogar Bambi Venezuela. This makes it difficult to separate spaces between each group of children, and It can affect babies among themselves. If we have a child with some type of contagious disease it is not possible to separate and isolate him so that the disease does not spread among the others, for this very reason we are undertaking a project to remodel bambi 5, it´s objective is to close the neonatal area to prevent the spread of viruses within the nursing home.

THANK YOU for being part of this and we hope we can still count with your support

The new Bambi V house has 36 boys and girls that have been deprived of a family environment (infants from 0 to 12 months and infants from 12 months to 24 months), whom due to protection measures were referred to Hogar Bambi through the various institutions of the System of Protection of the Venezuelan State.

The family of origin that is related to the child or a substitute family, which could receive a child under a “Family Placement” or “Adoption” protection measure.

Caretaker aunts, responsible for the direct and permanent care of the children.

Hogar Bambi undertakes this project to shelter the smallest population that enters the institution.

Casa Bambi 5 continues to be remodeled to shelter 36 boys and girls per month with an annual projection of 80 babies expected to be cared for, considering the dynamics of entry and exit experienced at Hogar Bambi. It is worth clarifying that the quotas are programmed for babies regardless of gender, which means that the number of projected beneficiaries is not limited.

 Thank You!

Hogar Bambi 5 project continues to provide comprehensive and focused care to at least 36 children aged 0 to 2 years old, who are deprived of a family environment at an early age. Due to its nature and importance, the different construction works have been carried out in a meticulous manner. Some adjustments have been made in the construction, with the goal of having spaces in accordance with the needs of the infants.

Although there have been many obstacles that have affected the execution of the work, a good progress mantains. On the other hand, a new valuation was made with a new contractor, which specifies other renovation expenses that were not planned. Therefore, when the restructuring is done, we will proceed immediately with the final furnishing and conditioning of the building.

It is important to remember that Hogar Bambi, started this project to shelter the smallest population that enters the institution, who often present critical health conditions, malnutrition, lack of vaccinations and pediatric control, among others. They requiere specialized, personalized and opportune attention, as well as safe, warm and comfortable spaces that facilitate their adaptation, rehabilitation, psychomotor and cognitive development.

The Bambi 5 house continues to be renovated and is being conditioned to shelter 36 children per month with an annual projection of 80 babies attended, considering the dynamics of entry and exit experienced by Hogar Bambi. It should be clarified that the quotas are programmed for babies regardless of gender, which means that the number of projected beneficiaries is not limited.

Thank you very much!

We are continuing to remodel the Bambi 5 house, to properly care for approximately 36 children per month, with an annual projection, based on the historical trend of entry and exit, of 80 babies cared for and attended at Hogar Bambi. It is worth clarifying that the quotas are scheduled for babies regardless of gender, which means that the number of projected beneficiaries is not limited.

At Hogar Bambi’s fifth house, we provide comprehensive care to at least 36 boys and girls ranging from newborns to 2-year-old infants, whom from an early age have been deprived of a family structure. Given the nature and importance of our mission, we have had to undertake various construction projects and make detailed adjustments to our facility to ensure we have the appropriate spaces that are in line with the needs of the children cared for at the home.

Its important to remember that Hogar Bambi embarked on this project to properly shelter and care for the babies and young children that enter the institution. These infants most of the time arrive with critical health challenges, malnutrition, the absence of the appropriate childhood vaccinations and pediatric care, among other challenges. They require specialized and personalized attention, as well as a safe space that is warm and comforting to facilitate their adaptation, rehabilitation, and cognitive and psychomotor development.

To achieve this, we have invested our time to achieve positive results for the children whilst gradually allocating our resources to this end. At Hogar Bambi’s fifth house, the:

  1. Direct beneficiaries: include 36 boys and girls, deprived of a family environment (nursing infants aged 0 to 12 months; nursing infants aged 12-24 months), which as protective measures were referred to Hogar Bambi through the various child protection services and institutions of the government.
  2. Indirect beneficiaries: include the family of origin that maintains a relationship with the child; or a foster family that could receive a child through foster placement or adoption. The Bambi caregivers, who are responsible for providing direct and continuous support to the children are also indirect beneficiaries of our installation.
