Every time we’re able to tell a child and her family that they are being awarded a PathLight scholarship, they instantly light up with joy. Because now there is a path out of darkness. Now everything is different. When you give a child the gift of education, you are lighting her way out of poverty and hopelessness.
Because of your generosity, PathLight is letting light shine for 140 high school and college students in Belize. We help these young men and women earn high school diplomas, college degrees and technical certifications. This guides them toward meaningful employment and trains them to become agents of change in their communities and villages. Outcomes recorded last year include a 75% high school graduation rate (compared to the approx. 60% suggested by official government statistics); 61% of PathLight high school students on the honor roll (triple the national average), and employment for 96% of PathLight's graduating job seekers.
Come and help us make a difference in the lives of these deserving young people. Help them become agents of change in their developing country. With your help, the future is in their hands!
