Inthefirst10monthsof2022,24tonsofPETand3tonsofcardboardandothermaterialswerecollected.AllthismaterialcouldbecollectedthankstoOurECO-Almacen inwhich,thankstothe donationswereceiveinkind,thecommunitycanexchangeproductsforthehome,thekitchen,clothing,schoolsupplies,amongothers,andthemeansofpaymentaretheusablematerial.Thattheyrecyclethemselves.Ourmerchandisedisplaystandsare95%ecological.
Before the collection method existed, all this recycling was destined for the streets of the community and the swamp. Since 2021 we are moving our Eco Warehouse to the different villages to collect in areas from which it is not possible for the community to move to the physical point.

The collected material is compacted at our collection point, to be later sold to Ekored, Enka and Copacabana, the money we get from the sale of recycling is invested in the community.
