This project combats early marriage by raising awareness in vulnerable communities. Through workshops, school programs, and community dialogues, we educate families on the social, health, and educational risks of child marriage. By empowering girls and advocating for their rights, we aim to ensure childhood, education, and a safer, brighter future for every girl.
Early marriage remains a critical issue in many communities, denying girls their childhood, education, and basic rights. Girls married before 18 face higher risks of school dropout, health complications, domestic violence, and social isolation. Cultural norms, poverty, and lack of awareness often perpetuate this practice, leaving millions of girls vulnerable and limiting their opportunities for a safe and empowered future.
This project addresses early marriage through education, awareness, and community engagement. By conducting workshops, school programs, and family counseling, we equip girls, families, and communities with knowledge about the risks of child marriage and the value of education. Advocacy and resource support empower communities to reject early marriage, ensuring girls can complete their schooling, enjoy their childhood, and build a safer, brighter future.
By raising awareness and empowering girls and families, this project will reduce the prevalence of early marriage in target communities. Girls will have greater access to education, improved health, and stronger decision-making power. Over time, communities will adopt positive social norms, fostering gender equality, economic opportunities, and safer, healthier futures for generations to come.
