In recent months, AWARE's beloved Ambassador corn snake Legs has run into a couple medical problems that GlobalGiving donations have helped get treatment for. First, in the second half of 2016, she began to experience some reduced flexibility and motion, and some unusal shedding behavior. GlobalGiving donations have helped us cover laser treatments that have allowed her to move freely with reduced pain. And second, she recently developed a wide growth in her abdomen. A surgical procedure, funded in part by GlobalGiving donors, identified and removed a tumor the size of a ping pong ball growing on one of her kidneys.
Legs and the other 23 AWARE Ambassadors continue to benefit from the care that GlobalGiving donors have made possible!
