A new year is here, and one of our ambassadors has made a resolution to help her fellow marsupials around the world. You may have heard about the brushfires that have killed an estimated 1 billion wild animals in Austrailia this month. We are co-hosting a fundraiser for Australian wildlife at Sports & Social near the Braves stadium on January 25. A joey from the North Georgia Zoo will be there, and our own Sydney will be there as well. Sydney is a Virginia opossum - North America's only marsupial. Like kangaroos and koalas, Sydney spent the first few months of her life in her mother's pouch. We're looking forward to letting her express her solidarity with her fellow marsupials in hope we can do some good for wildlife from the other side of the globe.
