Thank you for your continued support of all 25 of our ambassador animals! Over the last few months, we've been spending a lot of time with Sydney, our ambassador possum. She suffered a leg injury early in her life that cost her the lower part of one of her legs. For quite some time with us, she got around well anyway, but eventually the wear on the injured leg began to cause her pain. So recently, we performed another surgery, removing more of the leg so she would not put weight on the remaining structure. Now she's getting along better as she goes through recovery, so we're happy with her progress.
Thank you for making it possible for us to get her the care she needs! We hope she'll be with us and continuing to go to schools and help educate folks about peaceful coexistence for quite some time to come.
