Meet Class 46 Fellow, Manushi, from India!

Thank you for your ongoing support since celebrating our 15-year anniversary. When you support Atlas Corps, you support the professional development of 1,700+ global leaders, like Manushi, one of our many Fellows who are taking action today to change our world for the better.

Manushi is a rising leader from India and is participating in the American India Foundation Banyan Impact Fellowship. As part of her Fellowship, she is serving full-time at her Host Organization, Collaborating for Resilience, as their Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation (LME) Fellow. She extends her gratitude for the opportunity to grow as a data analysis professional:

In her words, “The Fellowship has given me a chance to connect with a global community of LME professionals. Through this immersive experience, I am gaining valuable insights, refining my analytical abilities, and expanding my professional network. By working with CoRe on real-world projects, allowing me to apply my learning and develop a practical understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation practices for systems level approaches.

We can’t wait to see how Manushi grows as a leader. Thank you for your ongoing support to ensure that leaders like Manushi are empowered to work towards inspiring positive change for the world.

We’re proud to share that this past week, we welcomed our newest Virtual Leadership Institute Cohort to Atlas Corps! After a competitive process, Atlas Corps welcomed an innovative group of 53 Scholars hail from 10 countries, including Andorra, the newest addition to our global community.

This Cohort, Cohort 12, boasts a diverse professional skill set and background, working on issues such as environmental protection, gender and women’s rights, and much more.

The Virtual Leadership Institute aims to empower local leaders who are working to solve relevant and ongoing social issues - and our participants are always ready to share how it has transformed their lives. One example is Júlia, who graduated from Cohort 8 of the Virtual Leadership Institute. Júlia extended her gratitude for the program and shared the difference Atlas Corps has made in her life:

The Virtual Leadership Institute is amazing. You learn a lot from teachers from other parts of the world, share ideas about projects, and develop ideas that you couldn’t do if you weren’t [part of] Atlas Corps. I think it was one of the greatest experiences that I have had.

Júlia’s experience will be multiplied with the new participants, and we’re excited to be driving this change with you by our side. Thank you for your continued support!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank YOU! As we get ready to celebrate American Thanksgiving, I want to take this moment to appreciate you as a valued member of our community! Your support enables Atlas Corps to build bridges amongst global professionals and to engage emerging leaders on talent journeys to inspire positive impact at home and abroad! We achieved 1,500 Atlas Corps Fellows and Scholars from 115 countries with your support!

Last week, right before presenting our work on a panel at the AidEx conference in Brussels, I met our Alumna Patience (Nigeria, Class 33, Host: The Center for Teen Empowerment) who served in Boston, returned to Nigeria to work in development, and is currently completing her Masters degree in the UK. She is one of those 1,500 members of our Community who are on a talent journey making a difference for others who inspire us to continue to invest with your support as we move into 2023!

I hope we can inspire you to continue be part of these Atlas Corps journeys with these three simple actions:

  • Meet Our Community - Meet our Fellows and Scholars at fellows.atlascorps.org and scholars.atlascorps.org.
  • Share Our Application - Right now, we are recruiting emerging leaders from Andorra, Bolivia, India, Nicaragua, and Spain. We have special opportunities for them in 2023! Learn more at apply.atlascorps.org.
  • Mark Your Calendars - Join me on GivingTuesday, November 29, 12:30 PM EST for a livestream update to our community. You can learn more at www.atlascorps.org.

Together, let's continue moving forward as a global community. Let's support talented individuals, like Patience, who are inspired by our passion for service and motivated by our interaction with one another!

Let’s end 2022 inspired and embrace the potential of 2023!
