Hello!
How were the summer months? We hope that you were able to enjoy time with family and friends in the warmer weather.
At Atlas Corps, we continue to adapt, learn, and evolve. We are also deeply appreciative of the support you provided during a critical time. Thanks to your generosity, Atlas Corps has continued to move forward, even while much of our world as been on pause. During 2021, we engaged 60 Fellows in our blended (virtual/in-person Fellowship) and 376 virtual Scholars. We brought about 20 Fellows to the United States. Our community found support in one another!
Raneem (Cohort 1, Egypt, Virtual Leadership Institute) shared this reflection, "Throughout this journey, I didn’t experience the sense of isolation that I felt through many of the other online learning programs...I found myself surrounded by like-minded people from every part in this world, I found in them inspiration, diversity, inclusion, confidence, and energy.I felt the sense of belonging which is fundamental to success and achievement."
Our Virtual Leadership Institute launched in November 2020 as a key evolution within our leadership programs. Your support provided this key Atlas Corps evolution to inspire global leaders like Raneem.
We invite you to celebrate these achievements as part of our 15h Anniversary. We will host a special virtual event.
Atlas Corps 15th Anniversary Virtual Celebration - Thursday, November 18, 12:00 PM ET (virtual event to be posted)
Join us as our 15th Anniversary celebration continues! This event will feature special remarks by UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Jayathma Wickramanayake.

Cheers-
Abby
PS Also, I invite you to get to know our new CEO Bidjan Nashat in his first newsletter. We are thrilled to add his leadership talents to our community!
Hello-
How are you? July is upon us already. Atlas Corps is busy reflecting on the first half of 2021 and we want to say THANK YOU! You have helped us achieve some significant milestones in just the last six months. Most remarkably, we have grown our community to 1,100 Leaders from 110 countries. We also welcomed our first Fellows to the United States in April 2021. Day by day, we are supporting social change leaders who are inspiring impact at home and abroad.
An excellent example is this highlight from our Alum Ikenna (Nigeria, Class 36, Host: Making Cents International) who launched an initiative that focuses on positive youth development,, "Earlier this year, I started working on a project with the knowledge I gained while on my Atlas Corps Fellowship … I created PROJECT B.O.L.D, a Violence and Bullying Prevention Program." Ikenna, like many of our Atlas Corps Leaders, are multiplying impact by applying the knowledge and networks gained during the Fellowship at home. Thank YOU for supporting Ikenna and our global community. Thank you for helping us to achieve this 15th Anniversary milestone. As a donor, you play an integral role in our success.
SPECIAL INVITE - Join us on July 14 (12:00 PM ET) for our Bonus Day Celebration to celebrate our Community and announce our 2021 Alumni Changemaker honoree. We will be hosting our annual Bonus Day Celebration at facebook.com/atlascorps and youtube.com/atlascorps. You can sign up on our event to get the latest updates! An added bonus is that donations of $100+ made on July 14 through GlobalGiving will be matched at donate.atlascorps.org!
Thank you again for all your support. Thank you for your role in reaching our 15-Year Anniversary milestone. There are so many stories of Atlas Corps Leaders accomplishing incredible work in the world. Our stories always include you- you inspire our community to achieve, and we thank you for believing in and empowering our Community!

Hello, how are you? Thank you for your kind donation to Atlas Corps. Thank you for empowering our growing community, representing 1000 social change leaders from 105 countries. Last year, you gave when we needed you most. We appreciate your support of our network of Fellows, Alumni, and Scholars!
When you contribute to Atlas Corps, you support Leaders like Alumna Trina (Class 15, India, Host: Atlas Corps | American Express). Trina co-founded Kranti, an anti-trafficking and women’s rights organization in Mumbai. Kranti provides shelter, education, and opportunities to disadvantaged women, many being under-age girls from Mumbai’s red-light areas. During the pandemic, Kranti quickly responded to provide healthcare and fresh meals to over 100 people everyday. To read more about Trina and her work in COVID-19 response, please visit our blog.
Thank you for the continued engagement in our community! We invite you to join us at the Atlas Corps 15 Year Anniversary Gala, November 20, 2021. We will gather in-person in DC and virtually to celebrate 15 years of achievement. Details and RSVP at 15.atlascorps.org.
We thank you for being part of our 15 years! Let us embrace these opportunities as we continue to inspire positive impact in our world...one social change leader at a time!

How are you today? Thank you for your support of Atlas Corps! When we asked, you responded. We are a stronger community thanks to you! Speaking of community- we are thrilled to share updates and opportunities for continued involvement:
Amidst the challenges of this year, we continue to advance impact by training social change leaders and strengthening organizations in the US and around the world. To celebrate, we invite you to meet our community of 850 global leaders from 99 countries during the Atlas Corps Global Impact Gala on December 16th 12pm EST.
During the virtual Gala, we will honor former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright with the Global Changemaker Award! We will also be joined by Alumni, Fellows and Scholars, including Alumni like Edison (Class 26, Albania). After completing his Atlas Corps Fellowship at Open Gov Hub and moving back to Albania, Edison opened the Open Gov Hub Albania affiliate. We are inspired by his commitment to social impact- and by your support of our community!

Hello-
I am writing with a quick message on behalf of the Atlas Corps community to acknowledge your contributions to our mission and the social change leaders we empower. When we asked for additional support for our Fellows affected by travel changes caused by the global pandemic, you responded. When we invited you to be part of Bonus Day on July 15, you joined. In true superhero form, you have showed up for Atlas Corps when we need you most.
Thank YOU for supporting our community of 775+ Fellows with your donations, gifts, volunteering and more!
We are grateful to those who were able to attend the Superhero Soirée to close Bonus Day on July 15th. We gathered nearly 50 community members- Fellows, Alumni, Atlas Corps team members, and friends and supporters- for an evening of celebrating the superheroes of our network. We ended Bonus Day with gratitude and in the company of our beloved community- thank you! We hope you will join us for our next virtual engagement!
This year has presented unanticipated challenges for our Fellows and for Atlas Corps. Despite these unprecedented obstacles, your support empowers us to move boldly forward and advance a world of well-networked, trained global social change leaders.
Atlas Corps Fellow Karam (Class 36, Host: Microsoft) expresses our sentiment best-
"Changes usually start with one person; Atlas Corps gives young leaders the tools to start their journey to change their small world and go from there to change the world at large. Your support is essential to helping these young leaders on their journey."
Thank you for not just believing in superheroes- thank you for becoming a superhero! Thank you for inspiring change and supporting Atlas Corps!
Cheers,
Abby
