Hello!
How were the summer months? We hope that you were able to enjoy time with family and friends in the warmer weather.
At Atlas Corps, we continue to adapt, learn, and evolve. We are also deeply appreciative of the support you provided during a critical time. Thanks to your generosity, Atlas Corps has continued to move forward, even while much of our world as been on pause. During 2021, we engaged 60 Fellows in our blended (virtual/in-person Fellowship) and 376 virtual Scholars. We brought about 20 Fellows to the United States. Our community found support in one another!
Raneem (Cohort 1, Egypt, Virtual Leadership Institute) shared this reflection, "Throughout this journey, I didn’t experience the sense of isolation that I felt through many of the other online learning programs...I found myself surrounded by like-minded people from every part in this world, I found in them inspiration, diversity, inclusion, confidence, and energy.I felt the sense of belonging which is fundamental to success and achievement."
Our Virtual Leadership Institute launched in November 2020 as a key evolution within our leadership programs. Your support provided this key Atlas Corps evolution to inspire global leaders like Raneem.
We invite you to celebrate these achievements as part of our 15h Anniversary. We will host a special virtual event.
Atlas Corps 15th Anniversary Virtual Celebration - Thursday, November 18, 12:00 PM ET (virtual event to be posted)
Join us as our 15th Anniversary celebration continues! This event will feature special remarks by UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Jayathma Wickramanayake.
Thank you for believing in our community of global professionals! Thank you for supporting the ongoing Atlas Corps evolution. Thank you for inspiring social change, one global leader at a time.
Cheers-
Abby
PS Also, I invite you to get to know our new CEO Bidjan Nashat in his first newsletter. We are thrilled to add his leadership talents to our community!
