This project will launch a database of children (age: 0-18), who have lost father/mother or both in ATO, who are forcibly displaced or suffer from ATO in any other way. Children of the project (for a present moment 55 children) will undergo free psycological and social rehabilitation, will receive free legal aid from the Center of Social and Legal Aid to ATO Participants. Main aim of the project: integrationof the family abroad with the family, who has suffered from ATO.
There are 1 million 382 thousands forcibly displaced people in Ukraine according to the report of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine from July 13th, 2015. It is all the results of the military confrontations in the Ukrainian East. In addition, the number of single-parent families are constanly increasing at the ration of the fallen Ukrainians, died in the East of the country. New social group is appeared "people of ATO". They are in need of psychological and social rehabilition.
Children undergo the hippotherapy treatment. It counteract negative social influence. Evenings of communication "Family Circle" provide families with external social and psychological assistance. Members of the families overcome the feeling of aloofness, loneliness. Children get necessary humanitarian assistance. Families of the project receive free of charge legal assistance from "The Centre of Social and Legal Aid to Combatants and ATO Participants".
The project will provide an assistance to the children, who suffer from ATO (53 participants for a present moment). It will help in child`s self-identification through the patriotic evenings, educational/recreational trips and workshops. Children will be united, feel them as inheritors of the Ukrainian culture and history. The project will give the ground for child`s development. Hippotherapy treatment (riding horses) will improve motor skills, brain activity.
