We assist, free of charge, the processes of recognition of the gender identity of Trans and Non-Binary Children and Adolescents with legal, educational, health and social support. We focus to accompany families and trans and non-binary people, from various parts of the Mexican Republic and Spanish-speaking people.
There are only three states in Mexico with gender identity recognition, and there are a wide variety of social, health and medical, educational, and social barriers for trans and nonbinary children in addition to the legal barriers.
This project assists the transition and expression of children of all ages by providing them and their family with the right support they need in this formative stage of life. We not only offer direct support, but also a series of tools in the legal, educational, health and social fields. In this way we seek to achieve respect for their human rights and contribute to their full and harmonious development and belonging.
By doing this important work, we not only support individual families with trans and nonbinary children, but we also challenge the institutional norms and policies that work against them. We aim to advocate and foster a future where there are less barriers and more freedom for our LGBTQ+ community.
