Ashraya's Community and Site Creches
Ashraya’s 6 creches reopened after a short summer break This year, for the first time a two week holiday was given to the staff and children of all the crèches.
Last Academic Year (2014-2015)
In June 2015 a total of 151 children from all the crèches joined regular school. The children are well prepared and usually do well in the entrance exams which are mandatory for admission to LKG in most schools.
New admissions – A total of 220 children were admitted to the different crèches.
Regular Activities :- The activities for the year have been planned; doctor’s visits and health monitoring will continue.
Beneficiaries
Ashraya’s crèches provide stimulation through various activities to promote all round development of the children. Creche teachers also attend workshops to learn new activities and techniques and also gain new understanding of how to work with children, disciplining methods etc.
